i'm a big fan of single malt scotch. i love the taste and finish of it - makes a nice warm feeling in your chest. i've got a pretty good collection at home which i don't mind sharing with my friends as they'd do the same for me. i don't limit myself to just single malts, there are some very fine blends out there to enjoy as well.

east africa safari

in sept/oct of 2002 i went on a three week safri trip to east africa (kenya and tanzania) with my dad, my sister and my girlfriend nikki. it was an incredible trip that took us to many safari parks and we came home with many amazing stories. the pictures from the trip are slowly being put online for all to see. feel free to check them out - it was an amazing experience.

as well as enjoying scotch, i also enjoy wine. my family is from south africa so i've always been partial to south african wines but lately i have been branching out to regions like australia, argentina, italy and ontario. ontario wines have really come a long way recently.
